Plastic Bags

Plastic bags are bad for the environment in many ways. One way is because if you are on the beach and you leave the plastic bag in the sand it will probably fly away into the ocean. The reason that this is bad is because once it gets into the ocean any living thing can mistake it for something and they might die by eating it or getting tangled in it. Another reason is that if you leave a plastic bag in the soil, it can harm the environment since it takes a long time to disintegrate. As you can see even though we reuse them they can still harm the environment.
Ways that you can prevent this from happening is by using the reusable nylon bags. This can help the environment because if you by mistake drop it on land and you forget it’s there then it won’t be that bad because it disintegrates much faster than a normal plastic bag. These bags are also much easier to use because since they are bigger then plastic bags then you can put many things inside of them. I prefer them because they don’t damage the environment and it is easy to use.
There are many different ways in which you can recycle when dealing with food. One way is that when you are going to the super market instead of using all those plastic bags to carry the food to your car you can bring a big shopping bag from your house s that everything fits in one bag. Another way is that if you take lunch to school, instead of putting it into a plastic bag you can put it into a container. As you can see there are many different ways that you can recycle even if it has to do with food.
