When you go grocery shopping, does the cashier give you about 10 bags everytime you go? Usually when you go grocery shopping, the baggers put about 3 things in each bag and if they are heavy they add another one. This is very bad for the environment, especially when you throw away the bags when you get home. Instead of using all that plastic, all you have to do is buy some nylon bags that are very big. This way, you can fit all that food in only about 3 bags without them leaking or breaking and you are making a difference to the world.
Go to the grocery store in your neighborhood and ask to see if they are selling these nylon bags. They usually only cost about a dollar each and they are very useful. Remember, you dont only need to use this for groceries. When you go shopping, instead of carrying about about 7 shopping bags with the handels that that hurt your arm when you carry them, you can take these bags and it wont hurt your arm. The handels are usually thick and confertable to carry.
If they dont have these bags at your grocery store you can always make sure they pack your groceries with paper bags. Papers degrate alot faster and fits more things in each bag. Even they dont have reusable bags at your grocery store, you can still make a difference to the world and your neighbor hood! Saving the world one bag at a time!
