My attempt at lemon cakes!

Today, after school, my mom was kind of gloomy 'cause a loved one past away recently, so she asked me to make her something sweet. I looked through our kitchen and found a box of lemon cake mix. My mom sayed that whatever i decide to make she wanted it to be in the mini cupcake pans. I started to measure all the ingredients, and when I got to the eggs, i pulled one out of the carton too roughly and it broke all over me!!! When it was all mixed, my mom and I trtied the batter and it didn't really taste like lemon, so my mom said i could try to mix in some pure lemon juice, and that did just the trick. It took me a while to put the batter in the pan and it was quite MESSY. I cooked them for 10 minutes and let them cool. We didn't have fresh lemons to make the lemon glaze, so we mixed some of the pure lemon juice with some vanilla frosting that we had. After spreading the frosting on the mini lemon cupcakes, it was purely DELICIOUS!!! Basically, whenever your feeling down, have something sweet and you'll jump to your feet... :)
